Connie Hernandez (he/him/his) is a cartoonist and community organizer from Chicago, IL. Connie likes to make playful, poignant stories that center empathy and restorative conflict resolution, using comics to visualize the unity the working class against exploitation and racism. He likes clowns, vampires, people, places, and things. Adjectives and adverbs are pretty cool too.
You can find his work in Swim Team and Gamerville by Johnnie Christmas as a background artist, or in Connie’s own upcoming debut graphic novel Fitting In written by Whitney Leopard. While he dreams of publishing his own weird adult fiction graphic novel, he also is working on grassroots, collaborative storytelling projects in his local Chicago community, to uplift the political demands of the poor. Connie is represented by Linda Camacho of Gallt & Zacker. To get in contact, email her at [email protected] Contact Connie here: Email: [email protected] Instagram: @co32_minus |
